2005年美国克莱门森大学（Clemson）获得材料学博士学位. 2006年至2012年先后在橡树岭国家实验室，桑迪亚国家实验室和联合生物能源研究所从事使用高分子物理以及生物质能源研究。2012年9月加入北京化工大学。在Energy andEnvironmental Science （IF=25), Physical Review Letters(IF=7.5） 等期刊上发表论文近40篇。目前从事纤维素生物质预处理，木质素结构以及高分子聚集态结构方面的研究。H-index 18
